Svetogorsk Pulp and Paper Mill has launched a corporate museum dedicated to the history and modernity of the mill and the city of Svetogorsk, Leningrad region, the production of paper, cardboard and other pulp products in Russia. The project has received support of the company's shareholders and the company's management, as well as an initiative group of employees, able to bring all the wildest ideas to life. The new interactive museum uses the latest technologies to demonstrate production processes.
So far, the main part of the museum exhibition has been launched. The museum’s set design is made in such a way that visitors go from immersion in the historical era to the modern activities of the mill. The full production cycle is represented — from wood to paper and reforestation, all the topics of high-tech production, sustainable forest management, product quality, well-being and safety of employees.
Visitors to the museum can follow the entire pulp and paper production cycle on interactive panels, get acquainted with the Svetogorsk plant and the city of Svetogorsk, and learn that more than 25 years ago the company was the first in Russia to produce domestic office paper SvetoCopy and Ballet. There is a real scientific laboratory, where guests can learn how strictly the quality of products is checked at Svetogorsk Pulp and Paper Mill and the safety of employees is ensured at the production facility, which operates around the clock.
